ProSkins continually checks the availability of listed items to ensure that buyers only purchase items that are still in the seller’s Steam inventory. Any item that has already been sold or removed from the seller’s inventory is automatically delisted from ProSkins to prevent issues during the purchasing process.
2. Delivery and Shipping Process
2.1 Buyer Payment
When a buyer makes a purchase, payment is collected upfront and held securely by ProSkins until the trade is completed. This ensures the integrity of the transaction for both parties.
2.2 Seller Trade Offer
Once the buyer’s payment has been processed, the seller is prompted to initiate the Steam trade offer. The seller is required to confirm the trade using the Steam Mobile Authenticator to add an extra layer of security to the transaction.
2.3 Buyer Confirmation
Upon receiving the trade offer, the buyer is responsible for reviewing the item, including verifying the unique float value and condition of the item. Once the buyer confirms the trade, the transaction is considered complete.
3 Delivery Timeframe
3.1 Digital Delivery
All virtual items on ProSkins are delivered digitally via Steam trade offers. Delivery is typically completed within 12 hours of the buyer’s payment and the seller’s trade offer, although most transactions are completed much faster, depending on the responsiveness of both parties.
3.2 Potential Delays
While most transactions occur seamlessly, certain factors may lead to delays, including:
- Steam service outages or Steam inventory issues.
- Delays in the seller or buyer confirming the trade offer.
- Verification processes related to security concerns or suspicious activity.
If a delay occurs, ProSkins will notify the affected parties and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
4. Trade Offers and Final Pricing
Once the buyer accepts the trade offer, the transaction is final. The item’s price, as listed at the time of purchase, is non-negotiable. ProSkins does not offer price adjustments after the transaction is completed.
5. Cancellations and Failed Transactions
5.1 Cancellations
Transactions cannot be canceled once the trade offer has been accepted by the buyer. We encourage buyers to review all details of the trade offer carefully before confirming.
5.2 Failed Transactions
In rare cases where a transaction cannot be completed (e.g., item is no longer available in the seller’s inventory due to unforeseen issues), ProSkins will:
- Cancel the transaction and refund the buyer’s payment in full.
- In the event that an invalid item is delivered, both the buyer and seller should contact ProSkins support for assistance.
- In case of an expired trade status where either the buyer or seller fails to complete the trade within the expected time frame, users will be prompted to follow the instructions provided by ProSkins, which may include canceling the trade manually on Steam or verifying the trade status through the use of a webapi_token.
